Lock 39 is an Americana-ish music project by Dan Hulse, Kristine Jares, Chris Celleghin, and Corey Snipes. Musically inspired by American roots, Irish, bluegrass, folk, and the culture of the Great Lakes region.

The group gathered many times in 2025 and 2026 to create music. While Lock 39 did not play any live shows, they had a great time and enjoyed playing and recording together. You can learn more about the members using their links at the top of the page.

"Lock 39 Demo" (above) contains four demo tracks by the Lock 39 project. These songs feature Dan Hulse (vocals, guitar), Kristine Jares (violin, vocals), Chris Celleghin (drums), and Corey Snipes (bass). These were recorded in the fall and winter of 2025, at Chris's home studio in Mayfield, Ohio. Click the cover to explore the tracks and have a listen.

All songs were written by Dan Hulse and arranged by the Lock 39 project members. Recording and mixing were performed by Chris Celleghin. Corey created this website.
